To clean solar photovoltaic panels, first consult the model's instructions and check the conditions of access. The method shall comply with the materials and instructions of the manufacturer. A roof panel does not clean like an accessible glass: the preparation of the intervention is as important as the choice of water or brush.
Identify the installation before choosing a method
Find the panel references in your invoice, the folder provided by the installer or the maintenance documentation. This guide covers photovoltaic modules producing electricity; solar thermal sensors must be maintained according to their own instructions.
Then note what motivates your request: visible dust, fints, persistent traces or simple scheduled maintenance. A picture taken from the ground helps the professional understand the layout of the panels. It is not necessary to search for a roof label to prepare a first contact.
Which water and tools to use?

Can we use a high-pressure cleaner?
Do not choose a device for its power only. Authorized pressure, application method and areas to be protected depend on the technical instructions. Avoid improvised use of a high-pressure cleaner and have the method validated by the installer or a professional who knows the equipment.
The same reasoning applies to a motorized brush: its practical interest does not exempt from compatibility verification. You can ask the claimant to describe his method in the estimate, rather than limit yourself to the name of his equipment.
Why access to the roof changes everything
